Terms of Service

1. The WonderWood Mindset

WonderWood is a participatory nature environment. It is not a conventional hotel or resort. By booking a stay, you acknowledge that you are seeking an experience rooted in presence, participation, and respect for the land and community.

2. Guest Conduct

We invite guests who value quiet and curiosity. WonderWood is NOT a destination for parties, loud music, or passive entertainment. We reserve the right to ask guests to leave if their conduct consistently disrupts the sanctuary's peace or violates our core values.

3. Respect for the Land

Guests are stewards of the forest during their stay. We ask for mindful engagement with the flora, fauna, and shared spaces. Any damage to the property or natural environment beyond normal wear and tear may result in additional charges.

Our Core Values

Wonder & Play

We believe play is essential. Curiosity, imagination, and gentle mischief open pathways to creativity, healing, and connection.

Connection to Nature

Nature is not a backdrop, it is a collaborator. We honor the land through attentive stewardship and slow rhythms.

Participation Over Consumption

Guests are invited to engage, contribute, and co-create rather than passively consume.

Restoration & Balance

True rest includes the body, mind, and spirit. We hold space for quiet, reflection, and nourishment.

Respect for Diversity

We welcome people of diverse lifestyles, identities, and cultures. WonderWood is a judgment-free space.

Matriarchal Leadership

Guided by an ethos of care, intuition, and long-term stewardship rather than dominance.

4. Liabilities

While we take every precaution to ensure a safe environment, nature is inherently unpredictable. WonderWood is not liable for injuries or loss of property occurring in the natural areas of the sanctuary. Guests are encouraged to move with awareness and care.
